Criminal case filed against JD(U) MLA in 'fake'encounter

Ara, Aug 30 (UNI) A criminal case was filed against nine people, including JD(U) MLA Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha and two DSPs, in an alleged fake encounter at the court of Chief Judicial District Magistrate.

The case was filed by Rekha Kunwar, widow of Ram Kunwar, killed in the encounter.

The alleged encounter by the DSP claimed lives of three children in Nawadaben village of Bhojpur district.

According to the petition the sleuths of State Auxiliary Police (SAP) and local police killed the three at the behest of Bhagawan Kushwaha.

The alleged fake encounter on August 25 had triggered agitation in the village.
