Congress for dismissal of DAN Govt in Nagaland

Kohima, Aug 30 (UNI) Alleging serious breach of Constitution over the Independence Day fiasco at Tuensang and Dimapur, the Congress has urged Nagaland Governor Shyamal Datta to dismiss the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) government.

The Congress Legislature party (CLP) has submitted a representation to the Governor yesterday. It was signed by all the 16 Congress Legislators, including leader of opposition I Imkong.

The Congress representation said the incident at Tuensang, where the government failed to observe the 59th Independence day at the official venue due to boycott called by certain organisations, reflected the 'weakness, inability and failure' of the state government.
