CBI probe sought into vicar's murder
Thrissur, Aug 30 (UNI) Parliament member C K Chandrappan today demanded a CBI probe into the murder of Job Chittillapilly, the vicar of the Thiruthiparambu Roman Catholic Church in Irinjalakuda near here.
Mr Chandrappan said the MPs from Kerala recently called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Home Minister Shivraj Patil and submitted a memorandum seeking a CBI probe.
He claimed that the Prime Minister had assured them that the probe would be ordered.
The vicar was killed on August 28 last year.
