BSNL's student power plan in J

Jammu, Aug 30: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) will launch a new pre-paid plan, 'Student Power Plan Scheme', in Jammu and Kashmir from September 1, 2006, the offical statement said today.

''In the scheme, the starter pack and activation charges have been reduced to Rs 100 from existing charges of Rs 200. Also, the talk-time available would be Rs 30 instead of Rs 50 offered now in all the license service areas,'' company's spokesperson said.

The scheme will be valid upto October 31, 2006.
