Brazilian currency worth Rs 85 lakh found on beach

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 30 (UNI) Brazilian currency worth Rs 85 lakh was found on the shores of Kothapatnam in Prakasham district here today.

Police said, a polythene cover, containing the foreign currency, was picked up by a boy, who handed it over to a journalist.

He, in turn, handed it over to Ongole Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Konda Reddy.

Later, bank officials confirmed that it was Brazilan currency worth Rs 85 lakh.
