BJP state president election on Oct 27

Vijayawada, Aug 30 (uni) The Bharatiya Janata Party in Andhra Pradesh announced that the election to elect a new state president would be held on october 27 as per the directions of party high command.

Informing this at a press conference here last night, party state president N Indrasenna reddy said the term of the president would be for three years.

Asked whether he would be in the race for second term, Mr Reddy said according to party norms, no one should contest for second term.
