APEPDCL takes note of delay in releasing connections

Visakhapatnam, Aug 30 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) Chairman and Managing Director Praveen Prakash today took serious note of the delay in releasing service connections under 'Indiramma and Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyut Yojana' and instructed officials concerned to release it not later than September 15.

In a review meeting here, he said that the details of the feeders with high rate of interruptions would be identified at the corporate office level and the date would be analysed. The engineers concerned would be alerted to enable them to take up maintenance works in the bound schemes. Priority would be given to feeders that break down frequently causing long interruptions.

He also said meetings would be held with all high tension power consumers in the region.
