7 killed 22 hurt in accident at Khamgaon

Nagpur, Aug 30 (UNI) As many as seven persons were killed and 22 persons injured when the state transport bus in which some of them were travelling was hit by a truck near village Kolari Phata, about 16 kms from Khamgaon in Buldhana district in the early hours today.

Six heads of cattle were also killed with incident.

The bus was on its way from Nagpur to Pune when the accident occurred.

Those killed include a pedestrian and two persons from Pune.

While among the injured are some medical students from Pune. The driver of the bus escaped unhurt, while the driver of the truck is absconding.
