Iran says no one can stop its atomic work
Tehran, Aug 29: Iran's president said today no one could stop Iran using peaceful nuclear technology, two days before a UN deadline for it to halt atomic work the West believes Tehran is using to build a nuclear bomb.
''Peaceful nuclear energy is the right of the Iranian nation. The Iranian nation has chosen that (course) based upon international regulations, it wants to use it and no one can stop it,'' Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a news conference.
He also said Iran's reply to an incentives offer backed by six nations had laid out a framework for talks, providing an ''exceptional opportunity'' to solve the nuclear dispute.
