Rupee opens strong by four paise at Rs 46.57/59/USD

Mumbai, Aug 28 (UNI) Indian currency today opened strong by four paise at Rs 46.57/59 per US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 46.61per US Dollar, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid-morning trade rupee was trading at Rs 46.54/55 per USD.

The stock market too opened in the green by 11 points and is currently trading 17.62 points up at 11,589.82.
