Husband-wife duo held for duping youth of Rs 4.80 lakh

Hoshiarpur, Aug 28 (UNI) A fake travel agent couple has duped Balwinder Singh of village Kotla Gaunspur of Rs 4.80 lakh on the pretext of sending him to Korea.

Police said that Balwinder Singh alleged in his complaint that Mohinder Pal and his wife Jaswinder Kaur of Nangal Shaheedan took Rs 4.80 lakh for sending him to Korea. But they neither sent him to Korea nor returned his money.

Sadar Police has registered a case under section 420 of the IPC against the husband-wife duo.
