Reno, Nevada, Aug 28 (UNI) Daniel Chopra's roller-coaster three-under 69, which included five birdies and an eagle, saw him finish fourth, while Arjun Atwal put up another ordinary show and returned a poor two-over 74 to finish tied 71st in the three million dollar Reno-Tahoe Open here.

The Indian-born Swede, who has been in good form after a disappointing first round, missed a chance to finish among the top three after dropping four bogeys in his final round to accumulate a total of 17-under 271 in the tournament.

However, it was another disappointing performance from Atwal as he managed four birdies against six bogeys to slip further down and finish sixth from the bottom with a four-day total of even-par 288.

Chopra, meanwhile, got over a poor start and after a bogey on the third, recoverd to fire an eagle on the par-five fourth hole. He followed it up with a birdie on the fifth but bogeys on the sixth and eighth pulled him back.

He, however, made up for the lapse with a birdie on the ninth to make the turn at one-under. Chopra went on a birdie-firing spree in his backward journey and gained three consecutive shots from 10th to 12th before a disappointing bogey on the 17th left him a shot behind third placed American Joe Oglivie (62) and three shots below winner Will MacKenzie (71).

In contrast, Atwal -- playing his back nine first -- made a good start, with a birdie on the 10th but kept stumbling at regular intervals to lose the plot and end the tournament on a disappointing note.
