Written by: Staff

Hyderabad, Aug 27 (UNI) Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) senior leader and former Union Minister A Narendra today announced that the TRS would take a decision on its continuation as a coalition partner of the United Progressive Alliance(UPA) on September 8.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Narendra said the TRS has organised a meeting called ''Telangana Shakharavam '' (Mass Public meeting) on September 8 at Siddipet in Karimnagar district.

The TRS President and former Union Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao, would announce the party decision after consulting the party cadre at the meeting, he added.

Alleging that the Congress-led UPA Government has cheated the TRS by saying that the Telangana statehood would be realised through a consensus, he said the TRS would launch a mass struggle for Telangana by staging dharnas, rallies, public meetings in every village in the backward region.
