President Kalam condoles Hrishikesh Mukherjee's death

New Delhi, Aug 27 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam condoled the death of filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee who passed away in Mumbai today.

In a message, the President said, ''In the passing away of Hrishikesh Mukherjee, the film industry has lost a powerful film maker whose movies moved the audience.'' His films were popular and known for their simplicity which examined human nature in all its aspects, he added.
