Chhattisgarh: Vande Mataram recital compulsory on September 7
Raipur, Aug 27 (UNI) Chhattisgarh government has made recital of ' Vande Mataram' compulsory in all educational institutions on September seven, to mark the centenary celebrations of the national song.
Official sources said the state government has issued a circular to all educational institutions asking them to ensure recital of National song at 1100 hours on September seven. The circular stated that first two stanzas of 'Vande Mataram must be recited.
The notification comes at a time when the state BJP unit has also decided to organize separate functions to recite National song in all the 16 districts of the state to create awareness among the people on issues of nationalism on September seven. UNI JJ 2128
