Anti Coca-cola agitation committee to continue struggle against Cola

Palakkad, Kerala, Aug 27 (UNI) The anti-Coca-Cola Agitation Committee will continue its ongoing agitation against the Coca Cola company at Plachimada in the district.

The General Body Meeting of the Committee, which met here today, decided not to change the style of agitation and continue the struggle till all the demands were met, Plachimada Solidarity Committee Convenor R Ajayan said.

Talking to UNI here, Mr Ajayan said, ''The ban of production and sale of Coca Cola in the state was only one part of our demand and the other issue of water pollution in the area still remains unsolved.'' As the Government had not taken a decision about water pollution and the compensation, the committee would continue its agitation till all the demands were met, he said adding that to press the demand, the agitation committee would organise a dharna in front of the district ground water department office here on September 20.
