20 injured in pooja-related row

Srikakulam, Aug 27 (UNI) As many as 20 people sustained injuries when the row over performing pooja in a Ganesh pandal led to a clash between Congress and TDP supporters in Peddalindugam village in Andhra Pradesh today.

Police said dispute over rituals turned violent when they suddenly started throwing stones at each other and attacked houses of the rival camp.

Police intervened and dispersed the groups. About 18 houses were attacked, police said.
