Two injured in a fire in building at Bhagirath Place
New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) At least two people were injured after a fire broke out in a four-storey building at the electrical goods market in Bhagirath Place in Old Delhi this evening.
About 34 fire tenders were used to bring the flame under control at about 2105 hrs, fire department officials said. The fire broke out on the first, second and third storey of the old building located at Yogadhyan colony of Bhagirath Place at 1655 hours, the officials added.
Two men, in their 30s had been admitted to the LNJP hospital with burn injuries, hospital sources said.
While one of them had 65-70 per cent burns the other had sustained 50 per cent injuries. The condition of both was stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, all the occupants of the building had been evacuated, fire brigade sources said.
