SWR to run spl trains between Mangalore-Chennai, TVM

Mangalore, Aug 26 (UNI) The South Western Railway (SWR) will run special trains between Mangalore-Chennai and Mangalore-Thiruvananthapuram in the first week of September in view of Onam festival.

The Chennai Central-Mangalore special would leave Chennai at 1600 hrs on September one, three, five and nine and arrive here at 0745 hrs the next day. In the return direction, the train would leave here at 1600 hrs on September two, four, six, eight and ten and reach Chennai at 0800 hrs the next day, a SWR release here said today.

The Thiruvananthapuram-Mangalore special would leave Thiruvananthapuram at 2200 hrs on September one, three, six, eight and ten and reach Mangalore at 1320 hrs the next day. In the return direction, the train would leave Mangalore at 2200 hrs on September two, five, seven, nine and 12 and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 1240 hrs, the release added.
