Rs one lakh crore investment expected in MP: Gaur

Bhopal, Aug 26 (UNI) Owing to the Madhya Pradesh Government's industry-friendly policies and better infrastructural facilities, an industrial investment of Rs one lakh crore is expected in the state in next two years, Commerce and Industries Minister Babulal Gaur said today.

''The expansion of the Govindpura Industrial area was being carried out in a planned manner. Special emphasis is being laid on roads and other infrastructural facilities,'' Mr Gaur told newsmen here.

''A provision of Rs three crore has been made for construction and repair of roads in Govindpura area this year. The amount would be increased next year,'' he said.

He claimed that development of infrastructure in Mandideep industrial area has led to expansion of industries. Besides, new indusries were proposed in the area.
