'Pol Khol Yatra' of SP youth, students' wing on Sep 17

Allahabad, Aug 26 (UNI) Samajwadi Party youth and students' wings -- Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha (SCS), Yuvjan Sabha and Youths' Brigade will take out 'Pol Khol Yatra' against former prime minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh on Septembem 17 next.

Talking to newsmen here today, SCS national general secretary Ram Briksh Singh Yadav said the Yatra would be to counter Mr Singh's proposed Dadri march and ''to unmask his real face before the people.'' He informed the Yatra would not be taken in Allahabad alone, but in the whole of UP. ''Our programme will continue till October 27, when Mr Singh would conclude his Dadri Yatra.'' Mr Yadav alleged all the promises, which the former PM made to the poor, downtrodden, farmers and labourers have remained unfulfilled.

''Mr Singh is hatching a conspiracy to malign the 'clean' image of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and his government,'' he maintained.

The SP leader alleged the former PM was working as an agent of Congress, aimed at jeopardising the Dadri project.

''Why Mr Singh is silent on the sale of valuable land by state governments of Pubjab, Haryana and Rajasthan to industrialists.

Whatever, the former PM is doing is only a 'drama' as he has no work at present,'' he added.
