Oral Implantology: MAHE enters MoU with Swedish firm

Manipal, Aug 26 (UNI) The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), a deemed university, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a leading Sweden-based global firm, Nobel Biocare India Private Limited for providing a comprehensive one year training programme in oral implantology.

The programme would be conducted by reputed international and national faculty at the Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MADCS), a MAHE release here said today.

The core curriculum included an intensive one week training for experienced practitioners on the established principles and protocols of implantology to enable them learn and incorporate it safely in their practice.

The course would also offer hands on practical training on patients. The participants would also be taught the principles and methods of patient assessment, treatment planning and advanced surgical skills in implants, the release added.
