K'taka Govt grants Rs 90 lakh for Phase II of court complex
Udupi, Aug 26 (UNI) The Karnataka Government has sanctioned Rs 90 lakh each for the second phase of the district court complex and construction of a circuit house, BJP leader K Raghupathy Bhat, MLA, informed today.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Bhat, also the party district unit President, said the tender process for the second phase of construction of the court complex would begin soon. The circuit house would either come up in Manipal or Udupi, he added.
He said the land acquisition process for widening of road to 80 ft between Adi Udupi and Kadiyali on the State highway was expected to begin within next two months. The state government had released Rs 10.47 crore for payment of compensation and set apart Rs nine crore in the budget for widening of the road.
