CPI(Maoist) ultra arrested, six detonators recovered
Giridih, Aug 26 (UNI) A hardocre CPI (Maoist) ultra was arrested from Bhabanand village under Dumri police station in Jharkhand's Giridih district today.
Six detonators were also recovered from a canal between Bhabanand and Chandanwa villages, Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar said here adding those were targetted at a police party.
The arrested was identified as Giasuddin, involved in the looting of 184 rifles from police station in 2001, he said.
Giasuddin was also engaged in the killing of two policemen in 2000 besides being an accused in a rape case in 1988.
