Body of Air Force sergeant killed in Rajasthan brought home

Lucknow, Aug 26 (UNI) The mortal remains of an Air Force sergeant, killed while rescuing people from floods, were taken to his native town of Amethi for last rites.

The body of Sergeant Jai Prakash Shukla was brought to Lucknow by an Air Force plane. Later, his remains were taken to Khempur Sarai in Amethi by road for cremation.

A representative of AICC placed a wreath on his body on behalf of AICC president Sonia Gandhi and Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi.
