Bank of Baroda launches Core Banking Solution in UAE, Oman

Mumbai, Aug 26 (UNI) Bank of Baroda (BoB) has launched online connectivity (Core Banking Solution) between India and United Arab Emirates (UAE) at its six branches in UAE on August 23, a release issued here today said.

A customer in UAE can now operate their accounts and avail of banking services from any branch of the bank in the UAE. Launching of CBS has enabled the customers of the bank in UAE to have on-line and real time connectivity with Indian branches for immediate remittance of funds through its product 'Baroda easy remit2India'.

BoB CMD Dr Anil K Khandelwal said, ''BoB plans to introduce 12-hr banking in the UAE shortly.'' He also informed that over 500 branches in India are offering 12-hr banking service. The bank has also been a pioneer in the 24-hr human banking in major metros like New Delhi, Mumbai, Amedabad and Bangalore.
