AP govt to create 1 million jobs in three years

Hyderabad, Aug 26: The Andhra Pradesh Government will create one million jobs in the next three years, Youth Services Minister D Prasada Rao informed the State Assembly.

In a written reply to Congress member S Udayabhanu, he said the Government had constituted a Employment Generation Mission (EGM) under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary at the state-level and District EGM headed by the District Collector concerned to achieve this.

The EGM would identify sector-wise demand, tie up with financing agencies and enter into public private partnership, he added.
