AIMWPLB in favour of singing 'Vande Mataram'

Bhopal, Aug 26 (UNI) The All India Muslim Women's Personal Law Board (AILWPLB) today supported the rendition of 'Vande Mataram' saying there should be no objection in singing the song written in the praise of motherland.

''We love our country and we support the rendition of the song,'' AIMWPLB member Shaista Ambar told reporters here.

She said a seminar on Muslim leaders and martyrs would be organised in Lucknow on September 10 focusing on their contribution in independence struggle.

A discussion would also be held on the role played by Muslim leaders and their contribution after independence, she added.
