UPA very firm on issuing quotas: Ambika Soni

Chennai, Aug 25: The UPA government is very firm on implementing 27 per cent seat reservation for OBCs in educational institutions as per the Constitution, Union Tourism Minister Ambika Soni said today.

On arrival from New Delhi at the airport here, Ms Soni told news persons that however, there were some objections among a few UPA partners on the issue.

The Prime Minister was making efforts to convince all UPA partners that 27 per cent reservation for OBCs should be implemented at any cost, she added.
