Special trains on Tiruchirapalli and Madurai sectors

Chennai, Aug 25 (UNI) The Southern Railway today announced special trains in Tiruchirapalli and Madurai sectors to clear extra rush of passengers.

The Tiruchirapalli-Chennai special (Train No 0610) would leave Tiruchirapalli at 2100 hrs on August 27 and arrive here at 0400 hrs, the next day.

The Chennai Egmore-Tiruchirapalli (T No 0609) would leave Chennai Egmore at 2330 hrs on August 28 and reach Tiruchirapalli at 0600 hrs, the next day.

The Madurai-Chennai special (T No 0686) would leave Madurai at 2345 hrs on August 27 and arrive here at 0900 hrs, the next day. The Chennai Egmore-Maduari Special (T No 0685) would leave here at 2300 hrs on August 28 and reach Madurai at 0900 hrs, the next day.

Advance reservations for the above trains would commence tomorrow, the release said.

The Southern Railway also announced rescheduling of the Chennai Central-Mumbai CST Express due to line block/power block in connection with the Engineering work on Ponpadi-Nagari-Vepagunta section.

The train scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 1145 hrs tomorrow, is rescheduled to leave at 1245 hrs on the same day, the release added.
