Pak rejects JK being an integral part of India
Islamabad, Aug 25: Pakistan has termed Indian minister of state for external affairs E. Ahamed's assertion that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India ''incorrect and misleading.''
''The Indian minister needed to jog his memory to separate facts from fiction,'' Dawn newspaper quoted a Pakistani senior foreign ministry official as saying yesterday.
The specific points the official mentioned to reject the Indian claim were -- the area is declared disputed by the United Nations Security Council resolution accepted by both the countries; the Line of Control in the disputed area is not an international boundary; and there is complete alienation in Jammu and Kashmir against occupation.
