Murder of Indian in South Africa yet to be solved
Dubai, Aug 25 (UNI) The South African police are investigating the murder of a 25-year-old Indian based in Dubai whose body was found in the boot of a car in Heidelberg town between Johannesburg and Durban.
Police are analysing mobile phone records in order to track down the culprit, who might have murdered Mohammad Manzar Khan, who was on a holiday in South Africa.
The body of Khan was found in the boot of a Mercedes car on Saturday morning, while that of his cousin, Rizwan Thathiya, 34, was also discovered by police later. He too had been shot in the head.
The CCTV footage of the highway, close to where the corpses were found, had failed to shed any light on the killings, the police told Gulf News.
Khan had arrived in South Africa on a holiday, to visit his cousin, just two days before the bodies were recovered. They were last seen on Friday in Johannesburg.
