Modi to inaugurate Tarnetar sports meet on August 28

Ahmedabad, Aug 25 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate an Open Athletics Meet 'Village Olympics 2006' at Surendranagar district near Ahmedabad on August 28.

The two-day sports meet is being jointly organised by the Sports Authority of Gujarat and Tarnetar Gram Panchayat, officials said.

Various events are scheduled for the meet, including events for women, they added.
