Lokayukt and Chief Information Commissioner takes oath

Patna, Aug 25 (UNI) Bihar governor R S Gavai administered oath to the Lokayukt and Chief Information Commissioner at Rajbhavan today.

Retired Justice R N Prasad was administered oath as Lokayukt, while retired Justice Shashank Kumar Singh as Chief Imformation Commission of the state.

Senior IAS officer P N Narayan and Md Shakeel took oath for the post of state information commissioner at a simple function organised at Rajbahavan.

The tenure of chief information commissioner and information commissioner would be for five years.

Chief Justice of Patna High court Mr J N Bhatt, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his cabinet collegaues were present on the occasion.
