Deccan Chronicle to invest Rs 20 cr in new editions

New Delhi, Aug 25: Newspaper pubilication Deccan Chronicle today said it will invest Rs 20 crore to start its new editions in Mangalore and Dharwad in Karnataka.

''This was decided by the Board of Directors of the company,'' a statement said.

In addition, the company has also decided to allow foreign institutional investment upto 14 per cent of its paid up capital.

An authority has also been designated to explore inorganic growth opportunities for the company, the statement added.
