Bank of Baroda launches its Core Banking Solution in the UAE

Mumbai, Aug 25 (UNI) Bank of Baroda (BoB) has launched online connectivity (Core Banking Solution) between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at its six branches in UAE on August 23, 2006, a press release informed here today.

A customer in UAE can now operate their accounts and avail banking services from any branch of the bank in the UAE. Launching of CBS has enabled the customers of the bank in the UAE to have on-line and real time connectivity with the Indian branches for immediate remittance of funds through its product 'Baroda easy remit2India'.

BoB CMD Dr Anil K Khandelwal said '' BoB plans to introduce 12 hour banking in the UAE shortly. He also informed that over 500 branches in India are offering 12 hour banking service. The bank has also been a pioneer in the 24 hour human banking in major metros like New Delhi, Mumbai, Amedabad and Bangalore.
