Six wounded by bandits, valuables looted

Balrampur, Aug 24 (UNI) Armed robbers wounded at least six people and decamped with valuables under Utraula Kotwali police station area here.

Police said the incident took place yesterday, when bandits sneaked into the house of Pramod Kumar Mishra and wounded him and his three family members after they protested the robbery.

Besides, the miscreants also brutally assaulted Sewak Khatik and his wife in the neighourhood and fled with jewellery.

All the six injured were admitted to hospital, where the condition of four was stated critical.
