Raj launches labour outfit; sticks to sons-of-soil ideology

Mumbai, Aug 24 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray declared his commitment to the sons-of-the-soil ideology during the launch of his party's labour outfit, the Maharashtra Navnirman Kamgar Sena, here today.

He said that the sons of the soil should be given justice and jobs on a priority-basis.

It is pertinent to note here that this was the core ideology of Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray which he propounded and has been advocating since the last 40 years. The ideology changed the political land-scape of the city for good.

Now his estranged nephew is using the same coin for the launch of his own political outfit and career.

Raj Thackeray said he would be very strict with his party office-bearers and his party's elected representatives.

''I will take a resignation letter from each candidate before allotting them a party candidature'', said Mr Thackeray, whose party is yet to have a single representative in any elected body.
