President accepts resignations of Chandrasekhar Rao and Narendra

New Delhi, Aug 24 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam today accepted the resignations of Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao and A Narendra from the Union Council of Ministers with immediate effect, an official spokesman said.

Labour Minister Rao and Minister of State for Rural Development Narendra, who represented the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), resigned from the Manmohan Singh government on Tuesday and withdrew support to the UPA after discord on the Telangana issue.
