Pondy CM leaves for Delhi

Pondicherry, Aug 24 (UNI) Pondicherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today rushed to New Delhi on urgent summons from the Union Government.

He is expected to meet Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil to give some clarifications sought on the issue of Special Category State Status for Pondicherry by the Ministry, according to official sources.

Mr Rangasamy is expected to be back here tonight.
