Major police reshuffle in Bihar

Patna, Aug 24 (UNI) To tone up the police administration at grassroots level, the state government shifted over hundred Deputy Police Superintendents (DSP) in Bihar.

According to the notification late last night over 100 DSPs, including 38 newly promoted officers, were transferred all over the state.

State Home Secretary Afzal Amanullah said here that the large scale transfer had been made to maintain a balance.

The newly promoted DSPs were waiting for their posting for the past two months.
