Liberty suffers 50pc production loss at Haryana unit

New Delhi, Aug 24 (UNI) Leading shoemaker Liberty today said that the production facility at its Haryana unit has suffered a loss to an extent of more than 50 per cent.

The company has not disclosed the reason for the production loss.

However, it has taken proactive steps such as outsourcing, appointment of new labour, working on extra shifts and resumption of production through contractual arrangements to mitigate the loss.

It said normalcy at the affected plants will be restored in the next couple of weeks.

The production activities at Uttranchal unit remained unaffected and has been working uninterruptedly.
