Industrialist held for suppying bullet proof vehicles to criminals

Chandigarh, Aug 24 (UNI) Chandigarh Police today arrested an industrialist for allegedly supplying bullet proof vehicles and jackets to criminals from Jalandhar.

Police here this evening said Sandeep Sobti (49), a Jalandhar based industrialist, used to convert vehicles into bullet proof ones and than supply them to some Uttar Pradesh based criminals.

Police said Sandeep, who was arrested on specific information, was booked under sections 420, 467, 448, 120B of the IPC.

Further investigations were on said police.
