Fake naxal held in AP

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 24 (UNI) Police today arrested a fake naxal on the charges of extortion, at Jeelugumilli Village.

Police said Saka Gangaraju (30) was arrested on a complaint filed by an industrialist of Lakshmipuram.

Gangaraju was earlier arrested by the police in connection with sarpanch attack case.

He was with the CPI (ML)-Janasakthi (Rajanna Group) for some time. Gangaraju was also an accused in bus burning case. The incident took place at Andiri Mamidigudem Village in Buttayagudem Mandal.

After joining the CPI (ML) (Chandra Pullaredy Group) he started extortions in the name and style of the party.
