Exim Bank signs Memorandum of Cooperation with SEWA Trade
Mumbai, Aug 24 (UNI) Export Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) and SEWA Trade Facilitation Centre (STFC), Ahmedabad, today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, for active promotion of hand crafted products of STFC.
The Memorandum marks an important milestone in Exim Bank's initiatives to promote and facilitate participation of village and rural grassroot enterprises in the globalisation process.
The Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) was today signed in Ahmedabad, by the Chairman and Managing Director of Exim Bank, Mr T C Venkat Subramanian, and Chairperson of SEWA Trade Facilitation Centre, Smt. Reema Nanavaty,.
In a statement issued here Mr T C Venkat Subramanian said that, with the India's rich and diverse base of artisan related industry, Exim Bank has taken the initiative in seeking to provide international market access to products from rural grassroot enterprises and enhance the income level of artisans.
