AIADMK Students-wing resolves to ensure victory for party

Kancheepuram,Aug 24: The students-wing of the AIADMK's Kancheepuram West District Unit took an oath here to ensure victory of the party's candidates in the coming Panchayat elections in Tamil Nadu.

At a meeting here headed by the students-wing Secretary K U S Somasundaram yesterday, a resolution was passed that they would strive hard to ensure the victory of AIADMK to fulfil the aspirations of their party General Secretary, J Jayalalithaa.

The meeting also condemned the DMK government for criticising the 'Veeranam Scheme'and for not taking steps to save the people affected by 'Chickunguniya'.

The Government should also be condemned for initiating 'Breach of Privilege Motion' against Ms Jayalaithaa, among others, the meeting also resolved.
