2 killed, 7 injured in explosion

Lucknow, Aug 24 (UNI) Two people were killed and seven others injured, when crackers exploded in a house under Kandhla area in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh this evening.

Police said the house owner had manufactured the crackers and later stocked them in his house.

The sudden explosion also damaged his house, besides killing two inmates.

While, four injured were rushed to a Shamli hospital, three others had been referred to Delhi for treatment.
