Two boys drown in check dam in Amreli dist

Rajkot, Aug 23 (UNI) Two boys drowned in the check dam while bathing at Dalkhania village in Dhari taluka of Amreli district, today.

According to the police, the deceased -- Pankaj Dhiru Patolia (10) and Mukesh Bholabhai had gone to check dam where they slipped in deep water while bathing and drowned.

Later, bodies were retrieved from the check dam and sent for postmortem at Dhari hospital, the police said.
