Thar Express suspended for four weeks due to damage to railline

Jaipur, Aug 23 (UNI) The services of the Thar Express hve been suspended for four weeks due to breaches on the rail line caused by heavy rain and flood in some stretches between Samdari and Barmer and Barmer and Munabao section.

According to the North Western Railway the repair and restoration of the track was expected to be completed in four weeks.

So the services of the Link Express between Jodhpur and Munabao and Thar Express between Munabao (India) and Zero point station (Pakistan) stands cancelled for four weeks, it said.
