Special Olympics National Football tourney ends
Bhopal, Aug 23 (UNI) Teams from West Bengal, Goa, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh bagged golds in their respective groups at the Special Olympics National Football Tournament that concluded in the City of Lakes today.
The event was organised by Special Olympics India and this state's Sports and Youth Welfare Directorate. Prizes were awarded by Revenue Minister Kamal Patel. As many as 360 children and 150 coaches from across 18 states took part.
During the valedictory programme, a team comprising elite players from various teams beat a referees' team 5-1.
